Onpage SEO is done through HTML. So for OnPage SEO, first of all, you need to know about Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). If you do not know about HTML, you can learn by clicking here. Then you have to do research on keywords. When we go to a search engine, we see the URL, title, and description of the page as a result. By looking at the title and description we click on the correct result from the search results. Page URLs, titles, and descriptions are very important for on-page SEO. In this episode, we will discuss the title and description in detail. I will discuss the URL in another episode.
Page title
The name of the page is usually written in the page title. You have to use the title tag to write the title of the page. Everything you type inside this tag can be found in a tab of your browser. Such as:
Rules for writing page titles
You have to write about the page in the page title. So you have to write about the page in short order. You have to start with the right keywords at the beginning of the title. Write different and unique titles for each page. The title cannot be written too short, nor too long. Search engines only show the first 60 characters of the page title. So you have to write between 50 to 60 characters. Obscure titles should be avoided. Words cannot be written with a comma, sentences must be written. Many times the title has to be written separately to separate one page from another. Many people use different symbols to write the title separately. Not all symbols should be used. Only the symbols mentioned below should be used.
Meta description
Page summaries are usually written in meta descriptions. You have to use meta tags to write meta descriptions. This tag is a little different from the title tag. Meta tags contain various attributes. However, names and content attributes are used to write meta descriptions. To write a meta description, you must first start with a meta tag. Then you have to write the description inside the name attribute of the meta tag and you have to write the summary of the page inside the content attribute. And whatever you type inside the content attribute will be shown to the search engine. Such as:
Rules for writing meta descriptions
In the meta description, you have to write a summary about the page, so first, you have to sort the summary about the page. In summary, the correct keyword should be used two to three times. Can't use more than that. The subject matter of each page will never be the same, so write a separate and unique summary. The summary cannot be written too short, nor can it be made too big. Search engines only show the first 150-160 characters of the meta description. So you have to write between 50 to 160 characters. Obscure summaries should be avoided. Words cannot be written with a comma, sentences must be written. One type of summary will not be shown to the search engine and another type of content will not be shown to the user. So the best way is to summarize the content inside the page.
